We would like to send out a big thank you to everyone who made our return to a busy summer on the Sapphire Coast such a wonderful one. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces plus welcome new people to our stunning part of the world in Merimbula. We’ve had a few tough summers behind us, and we hoped this summer was a return to “normal”. It wasn’t quite as we hoped, with staff shortages creating many challenges.

But we got through it, as we’ve learnt over the past few years to roll with it! Our guests were patient and understanding, and were kind, grateful and an absolute pleasure to have.  It made us realise there are a lot of things to be thankful for as we adjust to this ‘new normal’, one of them being that a little bit of kindness and care goes a long way.

In March we have the Eat Festival happening in Merimbula on the Labour Day long weekend. We’re a great base because you can easily walk to the festival from the Fairway MotorInn, then waddle home after a big day of sampling the wonderful foods created right here on our doorstep! Easter is April and that will come around soon enough. In our Easter School Holiday Deal, we’re offering a 25% discount on all 7-night bookings. This is one of our peak periods so you’ll need to get in quick!

We’ve also put together an ANZAC Day Long Weekend Package. The Fairway Motor Inn is a central base for anyone who would like to attend dawn services and parades in bot h Merimbula and Pambula.
