Exciting news! QANTAS will be flying from Sydney to Merimbula in time for Christmas.  From 18 December 2020, Qantas will operate four direct flights per week, bringing much needed competition to the route in time for the summer holidays. “These new flights will help more travellers explore the beautiful beaches and unique wildlife in and around Merimbula."

Many people from Sydney have never visited Merimbula before, so this presents a great opportunity for them to fly in for a few days and see what it's like for themselves. The Fairway Motor Inn is located less than 2km from the airport and some of the closest accommodation nearby. As a special offer for any QANTAS passengers in December or January they are offering a free pick up and drop off service to the airport.

When you arrive, you won't really need a car anyway because we have all the facilities you need including a full size tennis court, swimming pool, undercover BBQ and more.  We are also located directly opposite Pambula-Merimbula Golf Club and right next to Wheelers Seafood Restaurant.

Off course a visit to Merimbula isn't complete without a walk on our beautiful beaches and you can take the short stroll to Merimbula Beach where you will have the whole place almost to yourself.

We never sit still at the Fairway Motor Inn and we have been using the quiet time over the past few months to work on some updates and a bit of a makeover. We started of with a extra clinical clean of our rooms due to Covid to make sure your rooms are all clean and safe. Then we started on some bigger makeovers including;

• Replacing all of the lounges in our downstairs rooms and slowly doing the same with our upstairs rooms.
• New colour schemes happening so rooms each have a new look
• New floating floorboards put in all rooms in the kitchenette area
• Freshen up of the gardens and painting

As some of you may know we take great pride in our property and are regulary recgonised with various Tourism Awards. We were once again Finalists in the South Coast Regional Tourism Awards for 2016. We came up against some very stiff competition in our category competing against some big name motels so this time we were not surprised not to take out a Gold Medal.

We were delighted to find out though that we won entry into the Hall of Fame, which is recognition for having won our category for Executive Accommodation 3 times which is quite an achievement in itself considering all those we have had to compete against over the years.

We would like to thank all of those involved and acknowledge the hard work that people put in to make sure that South Coast Tourism delivers a great experience to our customers.
